The Manse provides on-site accommodation where families of seriously ill patients can stay close to the hospital.  Medical, Allied Health and Nursing students on placement with MDHS are also able to stay at The Manse.

The Manse was developed in conjunction with the local Rotary Club, and is managed along similar lines to the "Rotary House" concept.

The Manse has six bedrooms, two with double beds and four with single beds, two private ensuites and two shared bathrooms.  There is a communal kitchen, laundry and lounge and the study has computer and internet access.  All rooms have been furnished to the highest standard in keeping with the period of the building.


The Barkly Street house is accommodation for Medical, Allied Health and Nursing students on placement at the Maryborough District Health Service. Barkly Street is located just two blocks and easy walking distance from the Maryborough Hospital.

The Barkly Street accommodation has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a communal kitchen, dining, lounge and laundry. All rooms ahve been comfortably furnished and off street parking is available. WiFi connections are not accessible from this location.
