On 29 August 2007 we are having a Volunteers Open Hour with guest speaker:

From 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm
at the Maryborough Nursing Home, Maryborough District Health Service.
What’s in it for you???
Well, you get to put a smile on the face of an aged care resident plus you gain the inner knowledge that you have made a difference in that person’s life!!
Are you a fun loving, responsible person with a desire to help out?
Are you willing to have a laugh and keen to make a positive difference in an aged care resident’s life?
Do you drive? Do you read? Do you like to have a chat?
Do you like to go on slow walks?
Do you like to get out and about?
Do you like to do your little bit for the community?
To be eligible for this life changing position you need to be free to give us two to three hours of your special time each week, fortnight or month.
