Murray to Moyne Cycle Relay Team

Each year, for the last 14 years, Maryborough has entered a team in a fundraising event known as the Murray to Moyne Cycling Relay.  The event attracts teams from all over the state who raise money for their respective hospitals.  The relay starts at Mildura and finishes in Port Fairy, a total of 520km's travelled in a 24 hour period.

This year the team held several fundraising activities including functions at the Maryborough Highland Society, the Annual Pyrenees Magic Ride and a solo bike ride from Maryborough to Alice Springs.  Along with team and individual rider sponsorship a total of $11,070 was raised to purchase a BiPAP machine, which assists patients with breathing difficulties, for use within the Amherst Ward of our Maryborough Campus.
