Opening of MDHS' Community Services

The Minister for Health, Hon. Daniel Andrews, MP today attended Maryborough District Health Service to officially open our recently completed Community Services building.

Attended by over 50 guests, dignitaries and staff Vice-President of the Board of Management, Mrs Wendy McIvor, welcomed the Minister and explained the benefits of collocating the services we offer through our Community Services division in the one building.  

These services compliment the range of services offered by MDHS which include Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Health Care.  MDHS believes that the combining of these services under the one umbrella offers many benefits to our community.

Minister Andrews addressed the guests outlining the efforts the Victorian Government has taken in investing resources into projects such as this.  After the unveiling of the plaque a short tour of the new premises was undertaken.
