The Maryborough campus of MDHS offers a broad range of surgical services to the community through both local and visiting surgeons at the Day Surgery Unit and has 24 hour emergency care through the Urgent Care Centre (UCC).

The pre-admission clinic at Maryborough Hospital is for elective surgery patients to attend prior to their surgery.  It is the ideal time to uncover potential medical problems which could delay surgery, and plan for their return home after treatment.

Day Surgery

A range of visiting surgeones offer general surgery at MDHS along with visiting specialists in Ear, Nose & Throat, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and Urology perform day surgery procedures at Maryborough Hospital.

At Dunolly campus, local GP, Dr Brady, provides excision and biopsies two days a week.

Urgent Care

Maryborough Hospital has an Urgent Care Centre with 24 hour access to a local on-call doctor with experienced nursing staff trained in specialist triage care.

Dunolly Hospital also provides accident and emergency services for patients who present to the campus.
