Staff Development

The Staff Development Unit is actively involved in providing education programs to all staff to help ensure high standards of care.

With assistance from the Staff Development Unit, Maryborough is able to provide clinical placements for nursing, allied and medical staff and also facilitates nursing graduate programs and nursing re-entry programs.

Maryborough is actively involved in workforce retention and recruitment, particularly for the nursing sector and to date is able to boast a full compliment of nursing staff with Maryborough District Health Service listed as the placement of choice for many students and graduates.
