An increasing amount of community based programs are provided by MDHS. These include health promotion, ill-health prevention and community connectedness programs.
The Rural Involvement Towards Communities Health (RITCH) program services the smaller and more isolated areas within our catchment, with populations of less than 5000 people.
All MDHS Community Services are available to people in the following catchment areas: Adelaide Lead, Alma, Amherst, Amphitheatre, Arnold, Avoca, Baringhup, Barkly, Bealiba, Bet Bet, Bung Bong, Carisbrook, Caralulup, Daisy Hill, Dunolly, Eddington, Emu, Havelock, Laancoorie, Lillicur, Majorca, Maryborough, Moliagul, Moolort, Moonambel, Natte Yallock, Rathscar, Red Lion, Redbankd, Talbot, Tarnagulla, Timor and Wareek.
